About Us – RADD Cruisers
RADD Cruisers – has changed focus for 2018 – we are now operating exclusively as an online business!
Through our (just being built) online store we will be offering individual parts and repair kits for the Toyota Land Cruisers, Nissan Safari/Patrol, and other imported 4WD models.
We will be offering our parts for sale through Amazon as well – under the RADD Cruisers online name – this is the expand our exposure, and where will be offering the most popular items from our product line.
We will be adding to our range of parts as interest and demand from our clients grows. RADD Cruisers has access to many more items than we are able to list at the current time.
A little History
During the summer of 2017, I made the difficult decision to close the RADD Cruisers repair facility in Duncan in September. In the summer of 2018, we going to be focusing on online sales or parts and repair kits only, with some limited pay-per-use telephone support for diagnostics and repair information relating to Toyota Land Cruisers (with an emphasis on diesel models).
RADD Cruisers was originally started by Rob Lassman and based out of Nanaimo, BC. Rob is a very experienced and enthusiastic Land Cruiser owner, who loves doing restoration and repairs on older and unique Land Cruisers.
Rob formed RADD Cruisers allowing him to turn his passion for working on Land Cruisers into a career. As the marketplace shifted and grew through the mid 2000s, Rob approached John Barron, a fellow Land Cruiser enthusiast, and owner of E4 Auto Repair in Duncan, to see about teaming up – E4 & RADD then joined forces and moved operations to E4’s newly expanded shop location in just south of Duncan in late 2007/early 2008.
Rob later sold his remaining interest in RADD and moved on from working on vehicles all night and day so that he could enjoy spending more time with his family. Rob regularly keeps in touch with what’s going on at RADD, and consults on projects from time to time with his vast and invaluable knowledge of Land Cruisers.
